What Oak Lane AI knows, and what it does with it.
Last updated October 2, 2026
The short version
Oak Lane AI only knows what you tell it: your name and brokerage, the listing you add, the showings and feedback you log, and the seller you choose to send updates to. We use that to draft your marketing and your weekly seller update. We do not sell it, we do not read your inbox or calendar unless you connect it and allow access for your question, and nothing goes to a seller or a social feed until you approve it.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a password (or a sign-in link), your name, and your brokerage.
- Listing: the address you add, and the public-record facts we pull for it (price, beds, baths, square footage, nearby comparables).
- Activity: showings you log, buyer-agent names and feedback you enter, and photos you upload.
- Seller: the seller name and email you enter so the weekly update can be addressed and delivered.
- Billing: your plan and a Stripe customer id. Card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Usage: which features you use and how often, so we can keep the service fast and affordable.
- Free downloads: the email address you enter to get a free kit, whether or not you have an account.
How we use it
- To generate listing marketing, weekly seller updates, practice sessions, and daily task lists for you.
- To deliver the emails and posts you approve, from your name, with replies routed to you.
- To run the account: sign-in, billing, trial limits, and support.
- To email you a free kit when you ask for one.
Drafts are produced by an AI model. The text you enter for a listing is sent to that model to write the draft, and is not used to train it.
Who else touches your data
We rely on a small number of providers, each only for the job named here:
- Supabase, for the database, sign-in, and photo storage.
- Anthropic, for the AI model that writes drafts.
- ElevenLabs, for voice practice calls.
- xAI (Grok), for turning the voice notes you send on Telegram into text, with Groq as a fallback.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Resend, for sending the emails you approve and the emails we send you.
- Ayrshare, for publishing the social posts you approve to the accounts you connect.
- Cloudflare, for temporary storage of the tour videos you film.
- Inngest, for running scheduled work such as the weekly update.
- RentCast, for public property records and comparable sales.
- Vercel, for hosting.
We do not sell your data or your sellers' data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Optional connected accounts
Pro users can choose to connect Google Calendar or Outlook when those connections are available. Google access covers events on your primary calendar and your account email address for identifying the connection, not Gmail. With Outlook, you choose calendar access, email access, or both. These connections are read-only: we cannot send email, mark it read, create events, edit events, or delete anything through them.
You approve the connection at Google or Microsoft, then separately allow connected-account access for each Assistant message that needs it. Relevant calendar details or Outlook email content may be sent to Anthropic to answer that question. We do not save the connected-account exchange to Oak Lane chat history or extract it into saved memory. We do not use this data to train general-purpose AI models. Our AI provider processes requests under its API data handling and retention terms.
We store your connection's account label, selected permissions, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. We do not store your Google or Microsoft password, copy your mailbox, or download email attachments. Disconnecting in Settings removes Oak Lane's stored connection and stops future access. You can also remove the app's permission grant in your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Our use and sharing of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Connected data is not used for advertising or sold.
Voice practice
When you practice out loud, your speech goes to ElevenLabs live so the seller can hear you and answer. We never record the audio. When the call ends we read the text of the conversation to build your scorecard, then delete the conversation from ElevenLabs. If a call is cut off before that happens, we delete it the next time you open Practice, and ElevenLabs removes anything left over after 7 days.
You choose what we keep: your scores, the word for word transcript, both, or neither. You can change that, or delete your practice history, in Settings. We always keep the date and length of each call, and which seller it was with, because that is how your minutes are counted.
Your sellers
Every seller email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. When a seller unsubscribes, updates stop sending to them immediately, and you can still see the drafts yourself.
Keeping it and deleting it
We keep your data while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we delete it and everything in it within 30 days, except what we must keep for billing and tax records.
If you only asked for a free kit, we keep the email address you gave us. Write to hello@oaklaneai.com and we delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every record is scoped to your account, and only you can approve anything that leaves it. If we ever discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly and plainly.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top is always the current version.
